All brushes / brush tools are accelerated. With GPU support, even huge brushes with 1% spacing will perform well. The brush engine in Photo has been rewritten to use the new GPU architecture described above. You can control when the sub-brushes are drawn and how they blend with the main brush. Each sub-brush has a fully separate and customisable set of dynamics. This exciting feature allows any brush to have a list of other brushes attached which will draw at the same time. Photo 1.7 introduces a new “sub-brush” mechanism, developed in conjunction with Paolo Limoncelli ( DAUB® Brushes). There is no limit to the number of GPUs which can be used. Intel + AMD in MacBook Pro, or Intel + eGPU in other Macs) Photo will use them all, at the same time, to improve performance. Multiple GPUs are supported - if you have more than 1 GPU (ie. External GPUs (eGPU) are also supported - including hot-plug-and-unplug support. Performance when using integrated Intel GPUs has also been massively improved. Typically this improves compositing / editing performance by at least 1000%. It will now automatically use any compatible discrete GPU, alongside the Intel GPU support present in 1.6. The core processing engine in Affinity Photo has been rewritten to take advantage of the powerful discrete AMD GPUs in modern Mac hardware. With all that said, we hope that you will enjoy the new capabilities introduced in this initial release and we look forward to any and all feedback you give to us.Īffinity Photo 1.7 - Changes Since Last 1.6 Release It’s also worth noting that we aren’t done yet - we are still working through reported bugs from previous releases and hope to fix as many as possible before the final release of 1.7. They will not interfere with each other at all and you can continue to use the store version for critical work without worry. If this is your first time using a customer beta of an Affinity app, it’s worth noting that the beta will install as a separate app - alongside your store version. Things will be broken in this build - please use it to explore the new features and not for real work. This is especially true as this is the first of many beta builds we will release before 1.7 ships. Photo 1.7 is a (very) significant change to the currently shipping 1.6 version, so, as ever, I would strongly urge users to avoid the 1.7 beta for critical work. We are pleased to announce the immediate availability of the first beta of Affinity Photo 1.7 for macOS. Ĭonstruction began in October 2020 to replace the existing stage roof and structure. Some India-specific trends may further affect momentum over 2022: (a) stricter IPO norms are expected to be rolled out by SEBI, specifically focused on capping investor share offloading at IPO (b) regulatory shifts are likely to continue to affect a few sectors such as online gaming, cryptocurrency, and fintech and (c) talent attraction and retention will continue to remain top of mind for scaling start-ups. A few emergent sectors, however, will continue to see interest: Web 3.0 or crypto-based investments (especially with the government’s ruling on validity of digital assets), creator commerce, and core sectors, such as agritech and healthtech. Exits via public listings may also see some moderation as IPOs in the pipeline may adopt a wait-and-watch stance given global headwinds in public markets. Outlook for 2022: The report also said that global headwinds in early 2022 are likely to affect the funding outlook for the rest of the year. Remember, once a score is gained - a high scoring structure can have as many negative scoring structures placed around and it doesn't matter (so long as those structures don't lose points for being in proximity for that!).Īlso, a structure with a high base score (eg, a sandpit) or reliant upon many surrounding things (eg, lumberjack or shaman) can be placed next to each and still score positive, while saving much space and allowing the building that scores from them (brickworks, sawmill, etc.) to benefit from all of them. It contains an overview of the unlocked building scores and some other information. Presented mostly in the way the game presents the unlocks. I will add images of the icons for packs and pieces, as well as extrapolate the negative point placements by cross-referencing the scoring data. This is so that I might plan out small strategies in order to know which buildings to save for the future and where and when to place them. Sometimes it is worth a small loss in order for a future gain - if I can remember that this structure gains from that structure. It may seem pointless, as the information is given in-game - but tell me. With my German Defenders of the Reich prepared for the fight, the scenario chosen was High Ground, and I even got the extra defences for free (bunker, minefield, trench). I’m going to keep this brief, because the game was. I deployed as per my pre-battle plan, with the Volkssturm in their foxholes and behind barricades, my Pantherturm was front and centre with a perfect and dominant view across the river and open field (soggy flood plains all counting as difficult ground for all vehicles), it could not have been better sited. The Russian would lead off their attack with their infantry riding on the ISU-152 heavies, ploughing forwards across the river and wet-fields. Before they set-off, turn 1 for the attackers began with a artillery bombardment, 2 timed strikes from 122 howitzers and a PE-2 dive bombing. Well, rarely has a bombardment worked so well. The first 122s score 4 direct hits (from 8 dice!) and my Volkssturm were blown away (hard covers saves can’t withstand multiple direct hits). One squad gone, the bunker was hit and the MMG team inside were gone, the PE-2 then scored 2 direct hits in the Pantherturm and it was blown up… I had taken 5 counters already. A terrible start (things would not be getting much better). My front line just collapsed under the Russian bombardment and the Russian attack rolled forwards under some harassing mortar fire, which did little to the armoured vehicles. Any last survivors I pulled back to around the mine and awaited my reserves… the Jagdpanther, flak gun (it wasn’t here to shoot at the PE-2 - drat!), my underground counter-attack - come-on!. So, the next turns were quick the Russian simply ploughed across the wet flooded fields, I fired mortars, put some units on reserve move and ambush fire and waited. Russian reinforcements arrived and pressed on as second wave, as his first wave climbed out of the river valley into the woods. Here my timed 105 barrage hit (I judged it right!) and scored a few infantry kills and pins. My artillery priority checks failed… no supporting fire from the FOO on top of the mine’s winding gear tower. Oh well, so far I had take 6 counters (with 4s and 3s) and the Russian had taken just 1, from unpinning… I was being steam rolled. The Russian moved up again, gathering for the push against the village and mine. Karl in front of Mont-Saint-Denis in Normandy, France, 1944.Just in time my reserves rolled in, the Jadgpanther got into place and onto ambush fire, and the ISU-152s et al paused, awaiting enough orders to all attack together (he'd had a few dicey turns for orders). This was the skin that honors the iconic performance by SKT T1 mid laner Lee “Faker” Sang-hyeok during the Season 3 World Championship. The skin is probably the best of the SKT championship skins, giving the champion a really cool and unique style and upgrading those blades of his. Unfortunately, it doesn’t offer much more than nostalgia. The Championship skin could have been a game-changer for Zed. The blue flames surrounding his shadow are really cool, and this is one of the few skins of his that have chromas available, but basically, that is where the upgrades over the base skin end. The look of this skin is simply cool as hell. I mean, Zed really looks like a demonic ghoul and all this new animations and ability effects go along with that. The best part of this skin is that the shadow, the most iconic parts of the kit, feels like a shadow. It swoops when it slashes and zooms back to the champion, rather than just kind of bursting out of his model. While his Q and ultimate animations are a bit underwhelming, this skin is still definitely worth the buy. It’s no secret that I love the PROJECT skins, but this skin is among my favorites. The way Riot incorporated the futuristic theme into his kit, particularly with regards to his shadow (which is pixelated and vanishes in a cool “shadow deleted” manner) is really remarkable. Like all PROJECT skins, the effects are top-notch, with his Razor Shurikens and Shadow Slash really feeling like they have some weight to them in the pixelated form. The PROJECT skin is a fantastic take on Zed and really stands out among his collection. Here are the teams in the 'League of Legends' Worlds quarterfinalsįor the first time ever LoL is taking the crowdfunding approach, and it's paid off in a big way.īut rather than asking for donations, Riot is also allocating 25% of every in-game sale from character skins "Championship Zed" and "Championship Ward" to the prize purse. These materials have their different perks, depending on your needs. Since this style is the standard for under-deck skirting, it comes in a variety of materials that you can choose from. The classic under-deck skirting is lattice skirting, a skirting option that is an easy choice when you are looking for functionality and form. Especially if you are using the closed-off area for storage, adding a custom door to your lattice skirting makes it accessible and adds a layer of protection from unwanted intruders or critters. With lattice, not only can you install pre-made patterns under your deck, but you can add a door to the space as well. Having enough circulation will prevent water retention and damage to your items underneath. Since the under-deck space is prone to trapping moisture more than other spaces, look for a material and design that offers plenty of air ventilation. Either way, you can easily close this area off with lattice to add a decorative flair while maintaining any safekeeping. This can mean using it as an enclosed entertainment area or as additional storage space for outdoor equipment and materials. Your under-deck space dictates what you can do down below. Below, we offer 25 Under Deck Lattice Ideas and alternatives to lattice. Either way, skirting your under-deck area can be the last finishing touch in your backyard space. Or, consider an alternative to lattice, such as metal, cedar, or other faux materials. It’s as classic as it is conventional, as there are multiple materials you can install. The most common cover-up is to skirt your deck with lattice, the traditional grid or diamond pattern that is associated with under-deck skirting. While this is one of the last parts of the deck to consider, it still offers plenty of opportunity for designing and styling. With that space exposed, it’s important to install a deck skirt, which skirts around the area to stabilize and finish off your deck. Having an elevated deck comes with increased storage and open space under your deck. Each section is minimal, often with only one or two things you can interact with within a whole scene, so if you're really struggling you can just go with the age-old method of waving the cursor around until the icon changes. It all sounds complicated, and it is on paper, but in practice, there's a soothing, smooth progression that pulls you along, without ever leaving you so stuck you're tempted to shut it all down and angrily google a solution. You could be connecting a network of gold, white and black orbs to light up a constellation, or trimming tree branches, or planting seeds to suck up lines of white light blocking your path. There's no dialogue or instructions or even any annoying, angry bleeps when you're doing something wrong, so it all becomes a process of gentle trial and error until something clicks. In fact, at times the game felt more akin to a walking simulator than a point and click, a story I was just bumbling through and interpreting at my own pace.Įven when I was working through the puzzles, growing flowers by shifting the ground like radio frequencies, or applauding a giant saxophone solo, it always felt more like I was intuiting what the game wanted me to do, rather than following a logical pattern. The world is represented entirely in shades of black, white, and gold, and the scenery shifts and changes as you wander through it, figuring out what you can interact with, and why you would want to.Īccording to developer Feral Cat Den, the game is inspired by Italo Calvino’s 1965 short story collection Cosmicomics, but an understanding of the science of the creation of the universe won't help you, and a lack of one won't stop you from enjoying the experimental, dreamlike state induced by wandering through the game, listening to the jazz score rise and fall.
